69-HIGH GRADE HOLSTEIN DAIRY COWS & HEIFERS

• 45-Holstein Dairy Cows w/21-fresh past 90 days, 6-fresh past 120 days, 2-dry cows (due-Dec & Jan)

HERD NOTES: The Haack family started milking in 1970. All AI bred past 55 years with majority of breeding through ABS. Genomically mated past eight years. Some cows are AI sex semen. Heifers are bred to Holstein and Beef and were genomic tested. Presently the SCC is 75,000 with 4.3 Butterfat & 3.1 Protein. These ladies have a 90lb.milk average with top cow giving 123 lbs. 10-cows giving over 100 lbs & 18-giving 90+lbs. RHA-26,500. This herd is being milked in a parlor and are adapted to free stalls, headlocks & waterbed. Up to date on vaccinations and hoof trimming. Vaccinations include BovaShield 12-way annually plus Lepto. Cows dried off with J-vac. Younger animals get Vision-7 & BovaShield. This herd is on monthly health check. Cattle are in good condition. Young stock carry good flesh and are well grown.
