NOTE: Look at this hidden gem that we found in the hills of Green County, Wisconsin. This a small but powerful herd that have had a lot of love and great care.  A herd that has not been pushed and will adapt well into anyone’s herd. The Buol’s are on a monthly herd check with Dr.Jessica Powell, Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. They are up to date on vaccination using ViraShield, BoviShield5L5HB and Guardian.  Hoof trimming by Kyle Janssen, Rock City, Illinois.  All cattle have been AI bred for past 45 years using Hurricane, Randall, Honeymoon, Optimist, Garza, Uptown, Gomes & Superior.  Service sires include KingBoy, Simplicity, Top Shelf, Avo,Amulet, Amulet, Chizzelled & Willie.  Cows are bred for good feet, legs and udders.  They are being stanchion milked and are free stall adapted.   The herd SCC runs 104,000 with a low of 66,000 for the past six months with some cows as low as 13,000 SCC consistently.   Individual SCC to be posted at auction.   These ladies are giving a 60-70 lbs. Milk Average with Individual cows giving up to 112 lbs.  Current fat is 3.91 with 3.12 Protein.  Many cows freshening in at 80-120 lbs. A relatively young herd with 15 cows in their lst lactation, 17-cows in 2nd lactation & 18- in their 3rd & 4th lactation. Feed consists of haylage, corn silage, high moisture corn, pellet protein, wet balage & limited dry hay.  No TMR.  Bunk fed.  Excellent mineral program by Eastland Feed.   The Buol’s have done a great job developing this group as they have it all.  Low SCC, great genetics, beautiful udders along with disposition.
