72-HIGH GRADE DAIRY MILK COWS & SPRINGING HEIFERS
- 66-Milk Cows with 25-fresh 1-90 days, 9-dry cows, balance bred back in timely manner
- Majority Holstein & carrying red factor, 10-R&W Holstein, 5-Jersey/Holstein Cross
- 6-Large Spring Heifers, close, (2-R&W), bred to Red Angus Bull, may be fresh by sale
NOTE: After a lifetime in the dairy industry Jeff & Barb have decided to sell their good quality dairy cows and bred heifers. Jeff grew up on this dairy farm and has milked his entire life. He spent many years AI breeding. Presently the cows are bred to Holstein & Black Angus Bulls. Majority of this herd are lst & 2nd calf Heifers. They are shipping a 65lb. Average at this time to the milk plant with a BF of 3.89. The SCC ranges 160-250,000 with a December average of 222,000. Cows are being milked in tie stalls and are stanchion broke. Feeding consists of dry hay, haylage and corn silage. Due to cold temperatures cattle will be sold in their work clothes. Plenty of good cattle here to choose from.
