NOTE: A very elite, high producing herd with many outstanding prospects that are showing a whopping 90.2 milk average which equals to over 27,000 lbs. of milk with 3.7 Butterfat. Several lst calf heifers in this fine herd with quality udders. The average lactation is 2.4. A very low SCC with a 140-150,000 average. Individual milk weights & SCC will be posted day of sale. The Batton’s have AI bred for past 14 years using proven sires with Genex & Select Sires. These ladies are being milked twice daily in a 100 cow barn and are used to tie stalls & loose housing. They are being fed TMR, balage, corn silage, long stem hay, Canola pellets & bean meal. The Batton’s have done a great job developing this herd and have a good dairy management program in place. A lot of fancy cows here to choose from. They are up to date with regular hoof trimming practice. They are on monthly herd check. Cows are dry treated with Dry Master & Orbeseal and wormed bi-annually. Fresh heifers are vaccinated twice with Bova Shield Gold/Lepto.
