Cattle Notes: Current tank average runs 60-65lbs. 20-Cows are in their lst lactation. Fresh cows milking 100+lbs.  Heifers are freshening in between 80 & 90 lbs. The SCC ranges110-200,000 with 4.25 Butterfat & 3.2 Protein.  All AI bred 100% to Select Sires and are bred for dairy type, udder quality and polled genetics. Sires on cows include Armani, Atwood and Loyola. Cattle are on a monthly herd check, dry treated and vaccinated with BoviShield Gold.  Cows are being milked in a Tie-Stall barn and are used to loose housing.  Currently being fed a TMR ration consisting of balage, corn silage, Grain and Protein supplement. Heifers are mated and bred to sexed Holstein semen and or Angus. Heifers are polled and AI sired. Sires used include Luster P, Extra P, McDonald P. Sires to be posted at auction. If you are needing replacement heifers this is one of the finest set that we have sold in some time. They show dairy from one end to the other.  Very growthy cattle. It will be exciting to see them freshen.
