HERD NOTES: Cattle have been A.I. bred to select sire. Sires to be posted on sale day. All first calf heifers are bred back to sex semen bulls and heifers are bred to Holstein bulls. Approximately 60 lb. herd average. SCC runs 170-220, BF 4.0-4.5, PR 3.6. Cows are currently being milked by a robot but are used to self-headlocks and housed in a free stall barn. The foundation of this herd started in a stanchion barn.
